Smart City World Congress y Creating Smart Cities

The city of Barcelona is once again home to the Smart City Expo World Congress, the global event about smart cities. Undoubtedly, the organization has been able to strengthen a proposal which had a first edition in 2010.

Logitek, along with Wonderware Spain, has been supporting this event from its beginning. Our company has been present as partner displaying our offering of global solutions to “rethink of the present and the future of urban development.”

However, this is a special edition. The maturity of our offering, announced some years ago, has been supported by its implementation in our cities. We are in a position to confirm that there are tangible solutions, already in progress, operating and come true.

Smart City Expo World Congress

The platform solution for automation, management and real-time monitoring of urban infrastructures “Creating Smart Cities” by Logitek, based in Wonderware, brings to the city more than 30 years of industrial experience. It’s an open, modular and scalable platform. This means that it grows with the city and adapts itself to a planned model of urban growth: each city is unique.

It is important to underline that our platform can include any sensorized infrastructure based in technologies developed by any manufacturer in the past, present and future – infrastructures and technologies that don’t even exist currently.

We encourage you to come to our stand and get a close look at how “Creating Smart Cities” works. You will be able to handle the board panel for the management of the irrigation service or the lighting of the city, as well as to know how we have launched it in cities like Barcelona or Zaragoza.

You will find our stand at the entrance of the exhibition area in Smart City Expo (Hall P2, Street D, Stand 432) next to the Schneider Electric stand.
